1. plane mirror forms a virtual image.
 2. the image is formed as far behind the mirror as the object is in front of it.
3. The size of image is equal to that of the object.

1. A real image is obtained.
2. The size of the image obtained is comparatively smaller than the actual object.
3. The image is inverted.

sources of light can be classified into 4 types
1. natural sources
2. man made sources
3. hot sources
4. cold sources

1.natural sources : 
sources which gives us light and are formed by the nature
example- SUN,LIGHTNING

2.man made sources :
light sources which are made by human beings
example- BULB, LED

3. hot sources :
sources of light which becomes hot and then Emit light
Example: Sun Bulb

4. cold sources:
sources that Emit light with their temperature not going higher than environmental temperature 
Example: firefly

Take the plastic tree. take a chart paper and then take a torch.
turn on the torch and place plastic tree between torch and chart paper.
She will observe that a Large shadow of the plastic tree has been appeared.
Now she should finally, cut-out the shadow of the tree And now she has a larger cut-out of the same shape.

we should not see solar eclipse directly through our unaided eyes. because this can cause permanent eye damage or blindness.

the leaves of tree block the rays coming from the Sun. due to the shadow of leaves we see dark patches on the ground in a dense forest
